Exodus 20:18-26

ONE GREAT TRUTH: Our sinfulness, in the light of God’s holiness, causes us to draw back in fear, but the cross of Christ enables us to draw close to God so that we can draw others to Him as well!

1. We draw back… because of our sinfulness and God’s holiness.

2. We draw near… because God invites and accepts us on the basis of His Son’s sacrifice.

3. We draw others… because that’s God’s ultimate purpose in our salvation.
